A foggy launch out of JFK this evening. I think the top photo is of the Saudi Royal Flight 747 that brought the crown prince to New York. Catching Office Space at 34,000 ft. I think Milton might burn the place down.

See, what would be nice is if we could hook up a USB drive with a few movies loaded on it and play it on our IFE system.
I can see why this won’t happen (malware) but...

I wish instead the seat had a nice cutout to sit my tablet on. I like the location of the IFE screens but I would much rather bring my own device and be able to skip their stupid mandatory safety briefings and other announcements that interrupt my shows. With downloadable Netflix and Amazon, I have just as much access to stuff as I do at home. It would just be nice to have a better viewing angle than the tray table.

Having a meal on a plane? I’m used to just starving myself to avoid exorbitant pricing for crappy food. It’s nice when I can plan ahead and just pack some food though. Tsa will let plenty of things through, but I’m not a big fan of cold food in general.

Valid point, but the safety stuff is mandatory for legal reasons, so I don’t expect that to happen any time soon.
